Volunteers from Robeson Meadows HOA learn to control geese population

Friends of Geese Work with Champaign HomeOwners Associations to Control Their Canada Geese Populations

Friends of Geese volunteers oiled eggs during the 2021 nesting season from the end of March to the end of April at Robeson Meadows and Timberline. Timberland had six nests and a total of 21 eggs. Robeson Meadows had nine nests and a total of 36 eggs were treated. Both HOA’s were satisfied with the results of the work of Friends of Geese and have asked them to return next year. Friends of Geese hopes to increase the number of HOA’s it serves in future years and the number of community volunteers it trains. If you are interested please contact us.
